Just as we had planned, mostly, we got ourselves to the castle/ church with a few intermittent stops in between for a few more pictures. I like pictures. It was quite a bit of a hike up to the castle because Prague is a little hilly, and it's a castle so it's going to be as high as possible, usually.
We get there, the castle itself wasn't really that impressive. What was, was the church. My God it was beautiful. Unfortunately, the lighting was really bad and it was drizzling so the lighting was really poor so the pictures didn't turn out so well, not to mention that a mass would be starting soon and I didn't want to disturb people with flash.
After wandering around a little bit, the mass started to begin. I snapped a few pictures, but we were then told not to, which I understand. Rachel and I decided to stay for a little bit, we still had a little bit of time before we needed to go back. It was amazing because all of the alter servers sounded like they were monks by the way they were singing as they entered, it was so beautiful, I wish I could have gotten a better recording of it all. We only got a very short one. It also gives you a better look around the church too.
We ended up arriving back a little too late for our train. We probably would have never caught it, looking back at the timing of everything. The next one was 1:30 or something rather than 12:45, not too bad.
We get to the Praha hl.n trainstation and realize that the next train wasn't until 2 something so we had about an hour to wait. We took turns wandering around and guarding the stuff. I got myself a delicious curry chicken sandwich, then she went to go look at postcards, and then I did. My goodness they were cheap cheap! I bought two small cards and a large card for .76€. Anyhow, we eventually got on our train, had an extremely short transfer and our train was running a little late. Fortunately, we only had to go from Gleis 7 to 6, which was just a short few steps away. Everything worked out, aside from getting home at like 1 in the morning.
(Took some pictures of some officials. | Danube? | Bridge.)
