Since it's 7 hours later than CST, people can keep up with me. [Side note, ignore the post dates. I'm trying to keep posts within their respective months of happening.]

Tag 37 - First Day of "Class"(es)
For your viewing pleasure, I have updated my photo page with another link to pictures from this week (8-15).
13.03.12 - Dienstag, Tuesday
My body clock, as per usual, woke me up around 8 or 8:30, even though I didn't have class until noon. So, I did my usual morning routine, blah blah then sat on my computer for several hours talking to Jason and meandering around on the internet/ facebook. Made myself lunch and embarked on a 11:10 bus, which got me there at about 11:35, maybe later now that the station I get off at normally is closed... Anyhow, I walked into the cafe to find a spot to sit and eat but I had the first day awkwardness of not seeing any empty tables and ended up sitting on a warm heater and enjoying my sandwich. A familiar face did find me and chatted with me for a bit, so that was nice! After our conversation we wished each other luck and went our ways.
I get to my first class about 10 minutes early, sitting in my chair in silence and then two minutes after class was supposed to start, a person walked into the room and said the class was canceled for the next two weeks and wrote it on the board what he said. A student sounded a bit frustrated and asked why he didn't send an e-mail or post a note outside of the room and the person just shrugged and then we all left. So, I ended up getting to the school an hour or so earlier than I needed to. With all that extra time, I went up to the computer lab and messed around with the e-mail system and got it forwarded to my cymail.
I walked to my next class and sat in there for a little bit, then realized no one else was there. I walked out of the room and then spotted a piece of paper outside of the room saying that that class was cancelled until possibly the 23rd. So, at this point, I was one and a half hours early for the German class that I hadn't actually signed up for yet. This was one of the classes that was conflicting, so I was happy that I was able to sit in on the lecture. I spoke with the teacher and she said I could join the class. Also, after a bit of time, I also found out I could come on Wednesdays instead, so in the future there wouldn't be any conflicts!
I'm glad everything worked out, and with the two classes being cancelled, it meant I would have no class on Wednesday and only one class on Thursday and Friday at 8 am. Which I suppose is good because it will help ease me into the German classes! I didn't do anything very exciting for the rest of the day, so I have no pictures. Sorry!
