Day 4 - I Got a New Handy! (Cellphone)

The day was not terrible eventful, but I realized that everyone in my class is really friendly and that it was only my mindset from America made me think that the situation during dinner was awkward. People here seem to be a more friendly, although it may help that our class is only 10 or so people.

I was chatting with a man from Portugal in my class about my opinion of Europe so far. Apparently all the Americans that he knows have the "America is better than everyone else". I don't know who or where is better, but I like Europe because it's new to me, but old in the world. He also thinks that our toilets are disgusting because there is so much water in them, like a pool. Here, there is hardly enough water to fill a fifth of a toilet. I also found out that they have 2- or 4- ring binders. There are not 3-ring binders. I find more and more strange things here.

I also found out that Russia doesn't have walnuts. Who knew?

I activated my new Handy (Cellphone) today and found out it has a lot of cool features. I can receive a fake phone call and I can choose "who" it's from and "the number" it's from. It also has conversion thing, world time clock, alarm, and a calendar, it's pretty cool. :) I got it, and a SIM card for only 25, euros, so that was nice. Although now, after talking with another student, I could potentially get my iPhone unlocked and use it with the same card. Apparently the company has an unlimited data plan (internet flat rate) for 10, euros. We'll see if I can find the Apple Store and if it's reasonable.
